200 Year Old Contemporary Furniture

We start with weather-silvered, ax-cut beams and logs from antique barns and log cabins, then combine them with glass, steel, stones, canvas or figured woods in furniture that fits how we live today.  Our designs juxtapose old/new, high touch/high tech, and rough/smooth; and our recycled materials place them squarely in the green column.

Eco-friendly and people-friendly, our work aims to meet Emerson's diction: "The beautiful and useful should never be separated..."

You can order what you see here.  Or, we will be happy to work with you to size our designs to your needs, to use colors you choose, or to create new designs for you.  We'll make suggestions or develop a proposal for functional, aesthetically satisfying furniture that will stand the test of time.
